Host Families
Staying with an Argentine host family is our most popular option and the heart of a true immersion experience. You will share daily life, home-cooked meals, and the genuine warmth that Bariloche families bring to hosting — the ideal way to practice Spanish naturally, absorb local expressions, and feel at home from day one.
All our host families have been welcoming students since we opened, and we know each of them personally. We match students based on age, interests, and any special requirements such as diet, mobility, or pets. You receive a key to the home and are free to be as independent as you wish. Families speak Spanish with you at all times, stepping in with another language only if truly necessary. Most homes have shared bathrooms and kitchens. Breakfast and dinner are included, with dinner served six nights per week. Guests are welcome to keep their own snacks in the family fridge.
Regarding laundry: there is no washing included in the price. Some families may offer it as an optional arrangement, otherwise there is a laundromat conveniently located just 100 metres from the school.
